Mini-awakening: A person experiencing a moment of clarity in a golden meadow at sunrise, symbolizing a fleeting yet profound realization.

A Taste of Awakening: The Moment That Everything Changes

We begin life in ignorant bliss. But then, one day—on a walk, sitting on the porch, lying in a blooming meadow—something shifts. In a flash, it washes over us, unexpected and undeniable. Clarity. And then, just as suddenly, it’s gone. Something entirely new, yet… somehow familiar.

Somewhere between the ordinary and the extraordinary, when silence meets splendor, a miracle presents itself. A peak experience.

There are things you can’t unsee. Some memories just won’t fade. Once you’ve enjoyed the sweet taste of honey, even just a drop, nothing else will do. A new trail is blazed, and a mental map forming. A lasting impression. You may wander, but you will never be lost again. A small but permanent shift.

In that moment, no regret. No worry. The mind, alert yet speechless. Only presence remained. In this moment, only the memory of presence remains.

A mini-awakening teaches without words

Direct experience- that is our greatest teacher. To describe the taste of honey is all but impossible. To take a taste of honey requires no effort at all. Presence is both. With each taste of presence, something inside of you remembers.

There will always be the thirst for knowledge. It can never be fully quenched, and it will always rely on someone else’s word.

But a mini-awakening is different. The proof is in the tasting. It melts on your tongue. That moment is nectar. That’s the sweetness of freedom- the first taste of something you didn’t know you were missing.

One drop of presence. One taste of freedom. And then another.

That is enough to get you started.

That is enough for the moment.
