Read time 1 minute. Be kind to karma. It’s the only karma you’ll ever need.
So karma’s a bitch, huh?
Well, that’s one way to greet the universe.
Let’s call it… a choice.
The Germans have a word—schadenfreude—
taking pleasure in someone else’s misfortune.
Maybe if English had a word like that,
we wouldn’t be so quick to call karma nasty names.
Because when we say “karma’s a bitch,”
what we really mean is “I hope they get what’s coming to them.”
That’s not wisdom—
that’s auditioning for the role of Karma herself.
But Karma doesn’t need our help.
She’s not an all-you-can-eat buffet for your righteousness… hold the bacon.
We don’t get to pick and choose when to align with her—
and when to weaponize her for our own satisfaction.
If Karma’s out there taking notes,
then she knows when you’re rooting for someone else’s misery.
And then you go and call her a bitch?
Well, that’s just compound interest.
Calling Karma a bitch doesn’t make you righteous—
it just writes you into the script.
And you can bet your ass you just made the list.
(Maybe Karma’s not the bitch around here after all.)
So be kind to Karma.
Let her do her job.
Take care of your own world.
Being kind to Karma is good karma.
That’s all the karma you’ll ever need.
